Pioneer Marine received the 39,000 dwt bulk carrier “Arctic Bay”, which was built in 2015 at Jiangmen Nanyang Shipyards and is a sister ship to the recent additions “Ionian Bay” and “Aegean Bay”.
The fleet reinforcement is part of the company’s strategy to expand its platform and strengthen its presence in the international dry bulk market.
Pioneer Marine, founded in 2013 and headed by Dimitris Papoulis, currently manages a fleet of 14 bulk carriers, with a total capacity of 601,586 dwt.
Headquartered in Greece and present in Asia through Pioneer Marine Advisers SA, the company has been listed on the Norwegian OTC since 2014 and serves international shipping companies and trading houses, constantly strengthening its position in the market.
