Diana Shipping Inc., owned by Semiramis Paliou, has signed new time charter agreements, strengthening its commercial presence in the dry cargo market.
The company chartered the Newcastlemax vessel “Los Angeles” (206,104 dwt, built 2012) to MOL Ocean Bulk for 24,000 dollars per day, for a period until September 10, 2026 and a maximum until November 1, 2026. The charter commenced on November 1, 2025.
At the same time, Diana has extended the charter of the Ultramax “DSI Aquarius” (60,309 dwt, built 2016) with Bunge SA for 14,500 dollars per day, from November 1 to December 31, 2026, commencing on November 8, 2025.
The two agreements are estimated to generate a total of approximately 12.55 million dollars in gross revenues. Diana Shipping has a fleet of 36 vessels and expects two additional Kamsarmax dual-fuel methanol vessels by 2028.
