Roughly 15 members of a self-styled anarchist group interrupted the live primetime newscast on the state broadcast channel (ERT) on Tuesday night, while demanding to read out a proclamation.
The group was identified as the “Rubicon” collective.
The newscaster at the time was interviewing Communist Party (KKE) deputy Liana Kanelli.
According to reports, police called to the broadcaster’s building in northern Athens arrested members of the group as they departed.
