More than 30 people were detained and arrested on Friday evening after scattered rioting in and around the central Athens district of Exarchia, at the end of a protest march commemorating the 11th anniversary of the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old teen in the same district by a police officer.
Earlier, the large and mostly peaceful march passed through several major thoroughfares before concluded in front of the Parliament building.
