Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman arrived in Athens this week for talks with the political and military leadership of Greece’s defense ministry.
Following talks with his Greek counterpart, Panos Kammenos, both sides expressed satisfaction with the qualitative and quantitative upgrade in bilateral military cooperation, as well as prospects for even deeper ties.
Co-training, dealing with cyber threats, infrastructure security and defense industries were discussed in talks.
Athens is also the venue of a three-part meeting of the defense ministers from Israel, Cyprus and host Greece on Tuesday.
