Lidl Hellas reports higher turnover of 6.2% for 2015

Lidl Hellas, the Greece-based subsidiary of the German multinational, on Monday announced an increase in turnover by 6.2 percent for 2015, totaling 475 million euros.

Company officials also announced the establishment of the first two “new generation Lidl” in Greece, one at the Diavata site of Thessaloniki prefecture, where Lidl Hellas is based, and another in Alikarnassos, Crete.

The stores are the biggest in the German giant’s network. An opening date of February 2017 was given. Another four such mega-stores, up to 2,400 square meters in size, will then open in the cities of Lamia, Drama, Florina and Messini.
