A wide Parliament majority on Thursday evening approved a defense contract for the procurement of 18 French-made Rafale warplanes
Voting in favor were the deputies from ruling New Democracy (ND) party, main opposition SYRIZA and another smaller parties.
Voting against were MPs of the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and Yannis Varoufakis left-wing and Eurosceptic Mera25 party.
