Capital Ship Management Corp. this week picked up the “Green Environmental Achievement Award” for 2018 from the port of Long Beach in southern California, the third straight time it has won the same distinction.
The award is given to shipping companies that used the port of Long Beach in 2018 and which demonstrated that 90 percent or more of their voyages fell within the specifications of the voluntary program “Greek Flag”. The program aims to reduce emissions by commercial vessels.
