“Supporting Greek society and protecting people is our first priority” in dealing with the effects of the Gulf War, Minister of Marine Affairs and Insular Policy, Vasilis Kikilias, said speaking on Naftemporiki’s Vidcast.

“Our goal is not to burden citizens with energy and electricity, as they need to find basic necessities at prices that they can afford based on their salaries and pensions,” Kikilias noted and added: “If we see that something is getting out of control, we will intervene and help citizens.”

Kikilias proudly highlighted the unwavering support that Greece immediately provided to Cyprus, with the dispatch of two frigates and four F-16s.

The Minister also explained what will happen with ferry tickets, as well as the development plans for the country’s shipbuilding industry and ports.
