Nova recorded higher revenue, a strengthening of its presence in mobile telephony, growth in the field of information technology (ICT) projects and continued investments in 5G and fiber optic networks (FTTH) for the fiscal year 2024, despite ongoing pressures on the bottom line and an increase in borrowing.
According to the financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2024, the telecommunications company’s total revenue amounted to 881.5 million, up 7.6% compared to 2023 (819.3 million euros).
The increase in turnover is mainly attributed to the strengthening of mobile telephony services and the dynamic development of digital transformation projects.
Mobile telephony and ICT drive growth
Revenue from mobile telephony services accounted for 38.4% of total revenue and amounted to 338.9 million euros.
The trend of revenue from mobile contracts was particularly positive, increasing by 4.7% to 232.3 million, supported by the increase in the contract customer base by 14.2%, to 1.4 million subscribers. This development also translated into an increase in Nova’s market share by 1.3 percentage points in the mobile contract market.
The information technology (ICT) sector is gaining particular importance, with revenue increasing to 86.8 million from 30.6 million, up 184.2%. The rise is linked to large-scale digital transformation projects in public bodies, financed by the Recovery Fund.
At the same time, revenue from corporate clients and the public sector in the B2B, ICT, IoT and business continuity sectors increased by 238%, reaching 13.8 million euros.
