According to its deputy CEO Ioulia Haida, the new quarries will give a significant boost to the development of the company, which aims to strengthen its exports with an emphasis on the Indian market, expecting a tripling of its exports to that market.

Iktinos exports 95% of its production to more than 90 countries, with the main destination being China, which now covers 35% of our turnover, followed by markets such as America, the countries of the Arabian Gulf and the Far East, Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

The aim is to fill the export gap created by the recession of the construction industry in China, a market to which Iktinos exported 80% of its production in 2018.
