Draft tax bill unveiled; e-transactions mandated for purchases exceeding 300€

A draft bill on taxation, unveiled last week, foresees a significant decrease in the maximum allowed threshold for transactions between consumers and businesses, along with tax breaks aimed at alleviating the burden on Greece’s middle classes, especially wage-earners.

Specifically, the current 500-euro limit for transactions will be reduced to 300 euros.
