“Forward TALKS” Platform: Entrepreneurship and innovation at the heart of OPAP

New platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas between entrepreneurs and market executives

OPAP Forward TALKS, launched by OPAP, is expected to be enriched with new thematic sections and participations, strengthening the dialogue around the role of entrepreneurship as a key driver of progress and development in Greece.

This is a new platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas between entrepreneurs and market executives regarding Greek small and medium-sized entrepreneurship.

The OPAP Forward program, implemented in collaboration with EndeavorGreece, contributes decisively to this direction. The program supports a total of 81 small and medium-sized enterprises from extroverted and competitive sectors of the Greek economy, offering them know-how and advisory support to grow, increase their turnover and create new jobs.

According to OPAP President and CEO, Jan Karas, “companies must be flexible, so that they are always one step ahead. They must evolve their strategies and offer distinct experiences to customers.”

Focusing on the significant results achieved by the companies participating in the OPAP Forward program, OPAP Deputy CEO Odysseas Christoforou referred in his speech to the significant results achieved by the companies participating in the OPAP Forward program, emphasizing that OPAP Forward “embraces” dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises and strengthens them, providing them with tools to grow and offer quality jobs to talented employees. Since 2016, 81 companies from 7 different sectors of the Greek economy have found their way to success. With new strategies, innovative products and services, OPAP Forward companies have increased their turnover by 635 million euros. They have also created more than 3,500 new direct jobs and over 25,000 indirect ones. We are not talking about simple numbers – we are talking about the footprint of OPAP Forward, Christoforou pointed out.
