EFA Group and its companies EFA VENTURES, SCYTALYS, UCANDRONE and AETHER AERONAUTICS presented their proposals in the fields of Battle Management Systems, Command and Control Systems (C2), Interoperability and Unmanned Aerial Systems, at the international defense equipment exhibition DEFEA 2025, which took place at the Athens Metropolitan Expo from May 6 to May 8, 2025, confirming their commitment to innovation and the continuous development of new products and solutions that fully meet modern operational requirements.

As the EFA GROUP emphasized, it essentially operates as a “One Stop Shop”. It has created an ecosystem of integrated defense solutions that comes from and is supported by a single source, a wide range of products, systems and technologies characterized by interoperability, utilizing cutting-edge technologies developed with its own funds and implementing a reliable policy of long-term support for its products. The Group covers multiple and different needs of all Branches of the Armed Forces and Security Forces, with solutions adapted appropriately to meet the respective specifications.

More specifically, at DEFEA 2025, the company SCYTALYS presented the new advanced Combat Management System MIMS ARMOR, designed for installation on military vehicles and the “Combat Cloud” for the modern network-centric field of operations. In addition to these, SCYTALYS presented the evolution of its own designed C2 systems, focusing on smart anti-aircraft and anti-ballistic protection systems, with systemic integration of sensors, command and weapon systems and the use of AI and machine learning technologies.

UCANDRONE, which has made significant exports to European countries in recent years, presented the new innovative tactical UAS for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Targeting (ISRT) Blackbird, a fully autonomous aircraft with the ability to fly in a swarm, capable of operating effectively in the most demanding scenarios day and night, and to perform autonomous take-off and landing on moving vehicles and vessels. Thanks to its low weight and the ability to be assembled very quickly, the Blackbird is ideal for use by Special Operations forces.

AETHER AERONAUTICS presented the evolution of the successful commercial aerial targets NMS-2 and PNS-1, equipped with a Turbojet engine and a two-stroke piston engine respectively, which cover all operational requirements for both low and high performance targets. In the last two years, AETHER AERONAUTICS has achieved significant exports to 5 countries.

The presence of EFA GROUP was accompanied, as already announced, by the strategic investment agreement with Acromove Inc., a high-tech company based in California, which presented one of its products at the EFA GROUP booth. The collaboration between the two companies aims to develop a new generation of integrated telecommunications and high-tech IT solutions using Private5G and EdgeCloud, thus creating a significant power multiplier for the modern field of operations that facilitates communication and the flow of critical information between military units.
