OTE reported an increase of 1% in revenues and an increase of 1.8% in the growth rate of Adjusted EBITDA (AL) in the first quarter of 2025.
Adjusted profit to owners of the parent reached 159.4 million euros, up 11.9%, compared to 142.5 million euros in the same period last year.
The group’s adjusted EBITDA (AL) amounted to 329.1 million euros, up 1%, mainly supported by the 1.8% growth in Greece, while the performance in mobile in Romania impacted the group’s growth rate.
More specifically, revenue from retail fixed services in Greece remained almost unchanged in the quarter and amounted to 228.6 million euros. A significant increase was recorded in TV customers (+6.8%), while a record increase of 36 thousand was recorded in FTTH subscribers. At the end of March 2025, total FTTH subscribers amounted to 430 thousand, representing 18.3% of total broadband connections. The penetration rate of OTE customers with access to the FTTH infrastructure has already exceeded 46%, confirming the demand for high-quality connectivity services. The positive momentum continues in mobile, with service revenue up +1.2% and postpaid subscribers up +6.1%. Other revenue increased by 5.9% in the quarter, mainly supported by strong momentum in ICT projects. In particular, system solutions revenue increased by 17.8% in the quarter.
