The high concentration of Covid-19 exposure in the greater Thessaloniki area, in northern Greece, was again confirmed on Tuesday, with 538 out of the 2,199 confirmed single-day instances reported in the specific region.
The greater Athens area, with some four million residents of the 11 million in the country, reported 413. Greater Thessaloniki hosts roughly one million residents.
