High-ranking executives of 99 stock markets from around the world that are members of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) will arrive in Greece for the federation’s first-ever general assembly in the country, which is set for early next month.
The combined capitalization of WFE members, which include a total of more than 45,000 listed and traded companies, exceeds 80 trillion USD.
The Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), represented by its CEO, Socrates Lazaridis, will host the 58th WFE general assembly. A conference will follow on the current situation in the world’s markets.
