The Greek government’s council for foreign affairs and defence (KYSEA) on Friday announced that police Lt. Gen. Michail Karamalakis will assume the post of Greek Police (EL.AS) chief, following a recommendation by Public Order Minister Michalis Chrysohoidis.
The meeting was chaired by PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
