The body of a 50-year-old Belgian woman, on holiday on the large island of Crete, was recovered from the Kapsa gorge in eastern Lasithi prefecture on Monday, after the holiday-maker collapsed for unknown reasons during a trek.
An autopsy is pending.
The body was recovered by a team of fire-fighters and rescue volunteers.
