Two dead in crash of single-engine plane in central Greece on Wed.

Two bodies were recovered from the wreckage of a small plane that went down overnight outside the central Greece city of Larissa.

The two victims had taken off with the single-engine propeller craft from the Larissa air club on Wednesday afternoon, but failed to return as scheduled by 8.30 p.m. (local time).

One of the two men that died in the crash was an active Hellenic Air Force pilot.
