Garry Kasparov in Thessaloniki for 4-way chess exhibition matches against Greek female champions

Renowned former grandmaster Garry Kasparov, one of the highest ranked chess player of all times, was in the northern port city of Thessaloniki on Tuesday for a simultaneous four-match – with a handicap — exhibition against four young female chess champions: Stavroula Tsolakidou, Anastasia Avramidou, Katerina Pasoglou and Evangelia Mastrakoulis.

The young Greek players are all internationally ranked.
