Luncheon meats producer BIKH files for protection from creditors

Greek luncheon meats producer BIKH has filed for bankruptcy protection, after first seeking redress under article 106a of the country’s bankruptcy code.

According to a court petition, as of Dec. 31, 2017 obligations reach 44.65 million euros, of which 27.26 million are short-term, in nature. The company’s biggest creditor is Piraeus Bank.
