Zaev receives PPC CEO in Skopje after Greek utility purchases Skopje-based energy company

The president and CEO of the Public Power Corp. (PPC), Greece’s dominant electricity provider, was received on Wednesday in Skopje by the prime minister of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (fYRoM), Zoran Zaev, immediately after the Greek utility finalized its purchase of the EDS energy company in the neighboring country.

Earlier, speaking after a brief ceremony where a relevant contract was signed, top PPC executive Manolis Panagiotakis said his ASE-listed company is acquiring an excellent addition, a company that in a short time span has achieved numerous successes.
