A light quake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale was recorded at 19.42 (17.42 GMT) on Monday east of Rhodes, in southwest Turkey.
According to the EuroMed Institute, the quake was located 52 kilometers east of the island, and at a depth of two kilometers.
