OTE Group maintains Its growth momentum

The Group’s FTTH customer base expanded to 470,000 with record quarterly additions of 40,000 subscribers

OTE Group reported improved momentum in the second quarter of 2025, with revenues up 1.1% and adjusted EBITDA rising 2% compared to the same period last year.

The FTTH network now covers approximately 1.9 million homes with penetration rate increasing to 31%, up from 24% a year earlier.

The company announced that the Romanian Competition Authority has approved the disposal of Telekom Romania Mobile, with the transaction expected to close within the third quarter of 2025.

In its core Greek market, OTE saw accelerated mobile performance with revenues increasing 3.2% and subscribers growing by 5.8%. Fixed retail service revenues returned to growth, supported by double-digit growth in TV services and solid fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) performance.

Overall, OTE Group reported consolidated revenues of 913.3 million in the second quarter, a slight increase of 0.3% year-on-year. Adjusted EBITDA after lease (AL) reached 328.6 million, up 0.6%.

The company maintained its 2025 guidance, which includes free cash flow of approximately 460 million and capital expenditure of 610-620 million, with a focus on FTTH infrastructure expansion.

OTE Group Chairman and CEO Kostas Nebis stated that the company delivered “another quarter of solid performance and disciplined strategic execution” with “healthy financial results” in Greece.
