Wolt announced the expansion of its activities to new areas of Greece, with a particular emphasis on popular summer destinations.

The platform now has a presence in over 72 cities and islands.

“Over the past year, the company has been dynamically expanding its presence in islands and cities that are popular summer destinations, offering residents and visitors more choices and greater convenience – even on their holidays,” according to the company’s announcement.

Recent destinations added to its network include Aegina, Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Mytilene, Skiathos, Lefkada, Corfu, Chios and Tinos.

In total, more than 400 new stores have joined the platform, expanding the available dining and retail options. This growth is not limited to geographical coverage, as Wolt emphasized. Through partnerships with local businesses, many of which maintain exclusive partnerships with the company, the platform actively strengthens the local economy, giving space to small and medium-sized entrepreneurs to grow and come into contact with a wider consumer audience, he explained.

Dimitris Karelos, Regional General Manager of Wolt for Southeast Europe and Central Asia, said: “At Wolt, we don’t just expand geographically — we build relationships of trust with consumers and local businesses every day. Especially in areas with increased seasonal demand, such as summer destinations, our goal is to provide solutions that make everyday life easier for everyone and strengthen the dynamics of local economies.”
