More suspicious parcels intercepted by Greek authorities

Another eight suspicious parcels, all with recipients in other European countries, were detected by authorities and removed from a mail sorting center north of Athens this week.

Greek Police are continuing their investigation after at least two parcel bombs were sent from Athens to the German finance ministry and the IMF’s offices in Paris last week. In the second case, a small amount of gunpowder exploded when opened by a secretary at the Fund, slightly injuring her.
