Posidonia 2024 wraps up with record number of visitors


A total of 32,527 visitors from 130 countries attended the event

Posidonia 2024 recorded the highest number of participation in its 55-year history. The organizers are already taking reservations for the next exhibition, scheduled for June 1-5, 2026.

A total of 32,527 visitors from 130 countries attended the event, marking an increase of 12% compared to Posidonia 2022. Participants praised the organization, the number of visitors, the networking possibilities as well as the knowledge-sharing opportunities it offered.

In total, Posidonia was attended by exhibitors from 81 countries from all over the world, with the majority of exhibitors coming from European and Asian countries, while there was a particularly increased participation from South and Central America.

Theodoros Vokos, managing director of Posidonia Exhibitions SA, stated: “We are impressed with the strong response of the global maritime community to Posidonia 2024. Numerous representatives of every maritime sector and all industry collective associations gathered once again with enthusiasm to showcase innovations, network, close deals and discuss the future of the industry. From shipyards to shipowners, ship registries, suppliers, classifiers, propulsion system manufacturers, energy providers, software developers, trading, brokerage, legal, consulting and finance companies, everyone turned up again for two weeks to work but also to network in the way that is only possible in Posidonia.”
