Hilton announced a franchise agreement with CHC GROUP for the opening of CHC Sound of the Sea, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in a press conference held in the Hall of the Municipal Council of Karpathos, in the presence of politicians, local authorities, journalists, tourist agents and businessmen of the island.
It is the first Hilton hotel on the island and the first Tapestry Resort in Europe, designed to reflect the natural beauty of Karpathos.

From April 2025
CHC Sound of the Sea, Tapestry Collection by Hilton will be completely renovated by CHC GROUP, following with utmost respect sustainable development practices as well as combining high quality with simplicity and traditional materials of the Carpathian land. It will be the jewel of Karpathos from April 2025 and will be the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton Resort in Europe.
