Strong interest for new Greek 10-year bond; yield at 3.9%

Strong demand was reported on Tuesday for new 10-year bond issued by the Greek state the same day, the first such debt floated since 2010.

Bids reached 11.8 billion euros for two billions euros sought by the country’s Public Debt Management Agency, with a yield reaching 3.9 percent, down from an initial guidance of 4.125 percent.
