First Cabinet reshuffle of Mitsotakis govt announced; handful of top ministers moved, several dep. minister portfolios added

A government reshuffle was announced in Athens on Tuesday at noon, a development widely expected over the recent period, and with an ongoing pandemic-related nationwide lockdown in force.

Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced changes to a handful of major portfolios, including the labor and insurances ministry, the energy and environment ministry, and the interior ministry, along with adding numerous deputy ministry portfolios filled with ruling New Democracy (ND) deputies.
