Greek banks present at next month’s int’l road shows; political uncertainty again on agenda

By A. Doga
The managements of Greece’s four systemic banks are expected to commence another round of contacts with international investors, beginning next month, especially within the framework of a handful of important banking sector “road shows”.

As expected, the pending evaluation of the “Greek program” and the question of political stability in the country are the two main issues on the minds of major international investors, while another “thorn” is the issue of Non-Performing Loans in Greek banks’ portfolio as well as liquidity.

A JP Morgan road show scheduled for March 4 in London, followed by an HSBC event in New York City on March 9 and 10. Morgan Stanley’s road show comes on March 15 in London.
