ECB lowers Greece ELA ceiling by 0.1 bln euros

The Bank of Greece (BoG) on Thursday announced that the board of directors of the European Central Bank lowered the Emergency Liquidity Assistance (ELA) for Greek banks by 0.1 bln euros, and now stands at 71.4 bln euros. Reduced uncertainty and a stabilization of the flow of deposits were cited as the reason.

The decision comes after a BoG request and stands until March 10, 2016.
