A total of 56 flu-related, most linked to the H1N1 strain, have been reported in Greece so far this season by the country’s disease prevention center (KEELPNO).
According to a weekly bulletin issued by the center, new fatalities between Feb. 4 and Feb. 10 reached 17, while intensive care units were treating 40 patients for severe flu cases.
