A noteworthy increase in the number of work-related accidents was recorded in Greece in 2014, up by 12.5 percent, yoy — the last year for which figures are available.
According to the Greek statistical bureau, EL.STAT, 4,241 work-related accidents were recorded in 2014, up from 3,762 accidents in 2013.
The number of fatal work-related accidents also increased, with 31 deaths reported in 2013 and 46 in 2014.
