Greece’s privatization agency (HRADF) on Wednesday reportedly received improved offers by the two consortia interested in a majority stake (66 percent) and the management of the country’s state-owned natural gas transmission system operator, DES.FA.
According to media reports, the improved offers will be opened on Friday at the HRADF’s offices.
Nevertheless, the privatization agency may also again request an improved offer by the highest of the two bidders.
A relevant energy ministry had recently announced that the offers will exceed 400 million euros, with some reports pointing to a final price tag hovering at between 460 to 480 million euros.
