OPAP, the biggest sports gaming company in Greece and the exclusive operator of numerical lotteries and betting parlors, on Monday confirmed a deal by which it will acquire 36.75 percent of the parent company of a rival online sports betting platform, Stoiximan.
The acquisition of the one-third stake of TCB Holdings comes with a 50-million-euro price tag.
The transaction is subject to approval by regulatory authorities.
Stoiximan offers online sports gaming in Greece and Cyprus, while TCB’s brand in Germany and Romania is Betano.
Stoiximan in 2017 posted revenue of 136 million and 16 million euros in EBITDA.
