A general assembly of Attica Bank shareholders on Monday proposed the nomination of local bank executive Anna Pouskouri-Reiche as the new president of the Athens-based bank, replacing Yiannis Yamvrilis.
Shareholders also voted to change the board of directors, in compliance with a new legal framework and in line with corporate governance best practices.
The bank’s biggest and primary shareholder, the Engineers and Public Contractors Pension Fund (TSMEDE), recommended Pouskouri and an increase in the number of board members, to 15 from the current 13.
