The Bank of Greece (BoG) on Thursday announced that the European Central Bank’s governing council did not voice objections to an ELA-ceiling for Greek banks being set at 46.5 billion euros, following a request by the former.
The new ceiling will extend until May 17, 2017.
The figure is reduced by 100 million euros, and according to the BoG, “reflects developments in the liquidity situation of Greek banks, taking into account private sector deposits flows.”
