One positive trend for the coming tourism season in Greece came via Germany over the recent period, with the Cologne-based market analysis firm ΤrevoTrend pointing to an increase of 20 percent in online searches by German users for vacations and holidays in the east Mediterranean country in 2019.
The results were presented at the FVW Workshop Athens-Attica 2019, jointly hosted in the Greek capital by FVW Medien, the Hotel Chamber of Greece and the Attica regional government, and with the support of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
Participants included 45 tourism market professionals from Germany, with presentations given by the all of the participating commercial and government entities, under the coordination of FVW editor-in-chief Klaus Hildebrandt.
