Opening of Four Seasons Astir Palace marks return of iconic Vouliagmeni resort on int’l tourism map

The renowned Four Seasons brand officially debuts in Greece this week with the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens at Vouliagmeni promontory in coastal southeast Athens, the focus of the so-called “Athenian Riviera”.

Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel is the successor scheme to the iconic Asteras Vouliagmeni complex, which for decades was Greece’s best-known upscale resort.

The 650-million-euro investment revolving around the Astir Palace – the main complex at the Vouliagmeni site also debuted on Four Seasons group’s web pages this week.

In a statement to “N”, Astir Palace CEO Stelios Koutsivitis expressed the company’s satisfaction over resort’s opening, referring to the biggest tourism-related investment in Greece at the moment.
