Piraeus Bank’s Handjinicolaou elected as new president of Hellenic Bank Association

Members of the Hellenic Bank Association’s (HBA) board of directors on Tuesday unanimously elected George Handjinicolaou, the president of Athens-based Piraeus Bank, as its new president.

New vice-presidents for HBA, the non-profit legal entity that represents Greek and foreign credit institutions operating in Greece, are Costas Michaelides, the president of National Bank of Greece and Vassilios Rapanos, the president of Alpha Bank.

The third vice-president’s position will be filled by the new president of Eurobank, once appointed.
