Employers’ federation warns against more foot dragging on Greek program’s review

Greece’s largest employers’ federation on Monday warned against the continued foot-dragging in talks between the Greek government and institutional creditors over the pending first review of the “Greek program”.

The Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) said the delay threatens the recession-battered Greek economy’s stability. The group cited a recent decrease in consumers’ confidence, which it stated, is at the lowest level since September 2013.

Conversely, SEV announced that the latest estimates by the statistical service show that the recession in 2015 was less than originally projected (-0.2%), while exports also rebounded in the fourth quarter of 2015.
