A Frontex drone crashed in sea area southeast of Crete

A Heron-type drone belonging to the European organization Frontex crashed in a sea area 70 nautical miles southeast of Crete.

The unmanned aircraft was on a surveillance mission in the eastern Aegean and the eastern Mediterranean when, according to SKAI TV, for unknown reasons, it lost contact with the ground control, lost altitude and then fell into the sea.
