Two male refugees reportedly threatened to hang themselves in a central Athens square on Thursday, although quickly bystanders intervened. The two were later taken to a nearby hospital.
The incident in Victoria Square comes as the site has again filled with mostly Afghan nationals sleeping in the rough, after arriving from various Greek isles and after being ferried onto Greek territory from Turkey.
