No less than nine tax and duty obligation deadlines expire on Dec. 31, 2018 for Greece’s beleaguered taxpayers and recession-battered businesses, with the total sum budgeted for collection during the last month of the year being 2.8 billion euros.
Among others, taxpayers and businesses in Greece owing tax (from 2017 incomes or revenues) face the six and last installment, along with the fourth installment of the now permanent annual property tax (ENFIA) and VAT remittances for businesses collecting the indirect levy.
Owners of vehicles are also obliged to pay annual road fees by the last day of the year, or, alternately, turn in license plates and keep vehicles in storage.
