Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, speaking during the conclusion of an official visit to Athens on Wednesday, said Moscow will only extend the so-called Turkish Stream pipeline towards western Europe if its receives a prior EU approval.
Asked directly about the situation in the Ukraine, Lavrov claimed his government is implementing the Minsk agreement and expects Kiev to do likewise, while stressing that the rights ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine must be guaranteed.
